Let me introduce my self, My name is John R James, i was born is a small town ( Trinidad, Colorado) near the New Mexico/ Colorado Border in 1945. My grand parents were ranchers and farmers .My Dad ranched in his early years and worked in the area coal mines until his retirement. My mother was a housewife, they raised five boys and one girl, I am the oldest.
I graduated from Primero High School in 1963, In 1965 I was drafted in the U. S Army and after serving two years I was discharged in 1967. In 1968 I went to work for the El Paso County Department of Health and Enviroment, Air Quality Control and after 36 years of Environmental Health I retired in June 2004.
I have worked with leather begining in high school, learning from a very good teacher who taught us the basics in leatherwork, the most important being that if you produce a product made from leather, be sure it is a very good piece of work and one that you would be proud to buy. After retirement I picked up my tools and started producing leather fly rod cases.
I guarantee my work, IF my customers are not satisified with the product they buy from me, I will refund thier money back, no questions. I take pride in my work and I will only sell a product that I would buy.
